Our Hand Lettered Historic House Wooden Plaque

hand painted wooden signHAND LETTERED, HAND PAINTED WOOD SIGN
We conducted a complete deed history on the property when we purchased it in 2004 and that is when we learned it was the Thomas Potts House.

To formalize the historical significance of the house, we had this hand lettered historic house plaque made by a local Burlington County artisan. The site has a robust hand painted wooden sign gallery.

HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE of THOMAS POTTS HOUSE, MEDFORD NJ
We are the twenty-third owners of the Thomas Potts House, located on South Main Street, Medford, New Jersey (Burlington County).

The house, pictured here at Christmas time, was built in 1863 for Thomas Potts. Interestingly, his estate sold the house and property within a year.

The house was purchased by Frank Reily, Medford NJ, co-founder of the Star Glass Works, which operated a glass making factory nearby during the late 1800s.
